Melissa McManus

Melissa grew up as a member of the nomadic subculture of Army brats.  Even with the constantly varied environments, the universal theme was always fitness.  Every day was spent actively outdoors with the other kids on base.  She began organized sports at 9 years old and continued to share that passion for fitness throughout college.

After college she began Olympic Lifting as a way to introduce some variety into her training. Shortly thereafter she was  introduced to CrossFit.  It didn’t take long before she began adapting the functional fitness methods into the training of her private clients and began competing, leading to appearances in the regional CrossFit games in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2016.  In 2017 she earned the highly coveted Professional status as a female bodybuilder in the Women’s Physique division.
